Coast Tsimshian Resources and Pinnacle Renewable Energy to work towards pellet plant in Terrace

With Pinnacle Pellet's shipment Terminal now in operation on the Prince Rupert waterfront, the next stage of industrial development in the Northwest is on track for construction of a pellet manufacturing plant in the Terrace region.

Coast Tsimshian Resources, which is owned by the Lax Kw'alaams Band recently came to an agreement with Pinnacle to construct a pellet plant in Terrace, providing an opportunity to make better use of waste wood across the region.

The timeline of development could see the Terrace facility in operation by October of 2015.

As well, Coast Tsimshian is giving study to developing a sawmill to further enhance their lumber holdings across the Northwest. Where any potential sawmill would be located has yet to be revealed, nor has any timeline on that particular project been released.
