Port President and CEO takes Trade Connects Us message to Prince George

The Prince Rupert Port Authority's President and CEO is back in Prince George this week, taking part in a Prince George Chamber of Commerce session designed to explore the theme of how Prince Rupert's port is providing benefits to communities across Canada.

Don Krusel will highlight how the Port is changing the nature of Canadian exports, growing trade and creating trade networks that offer much to communities such as Prince George.

During the course of his presentation he will outline how the success of the Port of Prince Rupert relies on those kinds of connections and the role that the port plays in economic development across the country.

It follows the theme of development that was recently outlined in the Port of Prince Rupert publication The Current, which expands on the theme, showcasing some of of the partners that work with the Port in expanding the Northern BC economy and providing jobs.

Mr. Krusel's Prince George session takes place on Thursday from 11:30 to 1 PM at Prince George's Coast Inn of the North.
