Museum of Northern British Columbia offers a glimpse of stored items

Like many on the North Coast, the arrival of spring has the Museum of Northern British Columbia peeking into the storage room, looking over all those items that have been tucked away over the years, items of interest from past exhibits or one's which have been archived for research.

This month, some of those items move out into the main display areas, as the Museum introduces an exhibit called Treasures from Storage.

A wide range of items not necessarily connected to each other, but offering a glimpse of the history, culture and heritage of the region.

For those that haven't been to the museum in a while, it's an opportunity to revisit the downtown home for much of the history of the North Coast, getting a first look at some of the new additions to the museum inventory before the summer tourist season arrives.

You can find out more about the Treasures from Storage from the Museum of Northern British Columbia's website.
