Cash Mob returns to Prince Rupert June 21st

With the first ever Cash Mob a huge success earlier this year, Rupertites looking to experience the mob gatherings can circle June 21st on their calendars for edition number two.

Through this month, the Rupert Reign's Facebook page and Twitter feed will be taking submissions as to which local business should be the Mob's target later this month. Making a suggestion is as simple as listing the store or service you wish to see selected and tagging its name with #Spend20

Once they have their target in sight, Cash Mob organizers will alert those that wish to participate as to when and where to assemble. The only requirement is that those that follow the Cash Mob must spend at least 20 dollars at the target business.

We outlined the impact that the first Cash Mob had on their targeted business back on May 6th, following the Mob's visit to the Argosy Gallery, you can review that item from the blog here.

More details are available from the Rupert Reigns website, facebook page and twitter feed.

Those that want more information on the Cash Mob experience can contact Jasper Nolos at 250-622-2332.

The Cash Mob program is a collaboration between Community Futures of the Pacific Northwest and the Prince Rupert and District Chamber of Commerce.
