Round three of rotating BCTF strikes set for Wednesday, June 11 in Prince Rupert

The BCTF released details on Thursday afternoon, regarding its plan for a third round of rotating strikes across the province.

With School District 52 in Prince Rupert, School District 50 on Haida Gwaii, along with the Nisga'a  and  Bulkley Valley School Districts all set to face picket lines on Wednesday, June 11th.

Other School Districts in the Northwest to be affected include Coast Mountains and Stikine which will see picket lines set up on Thursday, June 12.

In addition to the rotating strikes next week, the BCTF also has plans to conduct a vote on whether to escalate their job action strategy, to potentially include a full scale walk out.

That vote is to take place on Monday, June 9 and Tuesday, June 10.

The BCTF is required to provide notice of the three working days before such a large scale walkout could take place.

Details on next week's job action  can be found from the BCTF website
