Port of Prince Rupert Website gets a make over

The Prince Rupert Port Authority
website gets a new look
A leading edge port, should have a cutting edge website and for those seeking out information from the Prince Rupert Port Authority a whole new visual experience is awaiting them.

The Port's online gateway to the world has taken on a new look, with a new focus on social media content, to go along with the statistical reviews and News Releases that have come to be the standard for information for the portal.

A task bar at the very top of the web page offers up a range of options related to Shipping, Marine Operations, Port Authority Information, Community Involvement and Future Growth ambitions for the Port.

The latter of those categories features overviews of prospective developments for the region, including such anticipated projects as the Canpotex Terminal and the range of LNG proposals for the region.

The Cruise industry also gets a significant focus in the new presentation, with a look at how Prince Rupert is looking to develop the industry for the North Coast.

In addition to those categories the latest in News Releases and features is available from the website as are a growing number of Public Documents from the Port with the link found at the very top of the website entry page.

The new look offers up a much more visual approach to the Port's activities and provides for a large volume of material to explore for those looking to learn more about Prince Rupert's main economic engine.

As we outlined on the blog yesterday, the Prince Rupert Port Authority is hosting its Annual General Meeting this morning at the Crest Hotel at 11 AM.

A glimpse of their Annual review can be found here.
