Fairview Terminal Expansion firms launch website for community updates

The 200 million dollar expansion of
the Fairview Container Terminal
is now underway
The two companies that are transforming the eastern side of the Fairview Terminal into a working second container dock have launched a website to keep the community informed on the progress of their work through the summer.

The project which is being run by Fraser River Pile Driving and BEL contracting started work in June to being the process of adding to the Fairview Container Terminal footprint on the Prince Rupert waterfront.

The new information portal provides some background to the work ahead on the 200 million dollar expansion project, along with contact information for those that might be looking for job opportunities on the project.

The most recent update noted that as of mid July some 40 workers are currently working on the expansion project in a number of categories.
