Prince Rupert residents may be on their way to travelling in style by the end of the month, if an application from Coast Limousine Service finds success through the province's licensing process.

The Province's Transportation Board is currently receiving submissions related to the application, received on August 5th that outlines the plan to operate the limousine service.

Conditions for the licence if approved would see the transport of residents from any point in Prince Rupert with potential Destination areas listed as Prince Rupert, Terrace and Stewart, BC.

The vehicle of the service would have capacity of not less than six and not more than 11 passengers, with a proposed hourly rate of ninety dollars for the first hour or fraction of an hour with a charge of ninety dollars for each extra hour not including taxes.

There will be a one hour minimum charge in effect for any use of the vehicle for less than 1 hour.

Background on the proposed service for the city can be found here.

Coast Limousine Service recently launched a Facebook page to highlight the range of services they can provide from weddings, to executive transportation, prom rides or special occasions.

The Deadline for submissions related to their recent application is August 20th.
