Shaken, not stirred, the theme for Prince Rupert Chamber of Commerce Gala this weekend

Your chance to live the life of a Bond character is coming up this weekend as the Prince Rupert Chamber of Commerce hosts it's Gala and Auction with a decidedly sophisticated theme for Saturday night.

Your inner James, Jaws, Moneypenny or Bond Girl can come alive at The James Bond 007 Licensed to Party until 2 AM, with the doors to the Bob Rudderham Hall at the Prince Rupert Curling club set to open at 6 PM, with the evening's festivities to launch at 6:30.

Tickets were moving fairly fast and you can pick up yours from the Chamber office on Third Avenue West, the cost for the evening of intrigue and class is 80 dollars, you can get more information by calling 250-624-2296.

The Chamber notes that tickets will not be available at the door, so advance purchase is your only way to gain access to the world of Prince Rupert's Bond appreciation night.

The Gala and Auction adds to the spotlight for the month dedicated towards Small Business on the North Coast, thirty one days which see the Chamber celebrating the continuing growth of its membership over the last year.

The Chamber recently tallied up the new memberships for the last twelve months and noted that 46 businesses have joined the local organization. A look at some of their events and activities of the month can be reviewed from the Chamber newsletter.
