Jingle Boat Express Tickets Go On Sale Sunday at Civic Centre

Tickets for the Jingle Boat Express
Go On Sale Sunday morning
at 9 AM at the Civic Centre
The lineups will probably be long, but the wait in that line won't take up much of your time, as heavy demand is expected to grab most, if not all of the available tickets for the Jingle Boat Express, when they go on Sale on Sunday morning.

The Civic Centre is the location for those looking to board the popular holiday event, a Prince Rupert tradition that traded in the rails for the water last year much to the excitement of many across the region.

Tickets go on sale at 9 AM on Sunday morning from the canteen area, with the doors to the Civic Centre opening at 8 AM.

Those looking to set sail on the Jingle Boat Express are reminded that there is a limit to the number of tickets that can be purchased. With four tickets available to each purchasing adult, Tickets cost 5 dollars each and are available on a cash only basis.

There are approximately 72 tickets available for each of the sailings of the Jingle Boat Express.

This years sailing takes place on Thursday, December 10th with four sailings departing from the Atlin Terminal in Cow Bay at 10 AM, 11 AM, Noon and 1 PM.

Should those in line on Sunday not find success in their ticket purchase plans, there is one final opportunity to find a way onto the 1 PM sailing, that through a draw to win tickets to the final sailing of the day.

You can enter that draw while at the Ticket Selling event on Sunday, or by dropping into the Port Interpretive Centre at the Atlin Terminal on Monday.

The Prince Rupert Civic Centre is the Box Office for the Jingle Boat Express,

As it has in the past the proceeds from the ticket sales will be donated to the Salvation Army as part of their Christmas Present purchase program which provides Christmas presents for Children in the community.

Earlier in the month we outlined some of the behind the scenes work that goes into the Jingle Boat Express project, you can review those notes here.
