2016 All Native Tournament Team Listings released for February tournament

An impressive list of participating teams was released last week by ANBT organizers with the four categories for the February tournament offering up some familiar names and a few returning teams ready to launch the challenge.

The basketball courts throughout the Civic Centre complex come to life the week of February 8 -14th, with another strong line up of teams set to make their final arrangements for the trip to Prince Rupert.

In the Women's category 14 teams are listed, with three on standby should plans change among those that have qualified.

Twelve teams have secured berths in the Intermediate Division, with two standing ready to step in should circumstances change.

The Senior Men's Division matches the Women's Division in the amount of participating teams with 14 on the invitation list and two on standby.

While the Masters boasts of ten entrants for 2016 with one on standby if required to make the trip to fill in for one of the ten.

As for those on the list above, the organizers for the 2016 ANBT tournament offer up a reminder that organizers require email contacts for every team on the list, as they hope to have all the Invitation Packages sent out to the teams through this week.

The annual event is of course much more than just the basketball that takes place, with a number of cultural events and other activities taking place as well during the week long festival.
