Chamber of Commerce salutes another year of Business Excellence on the North Coast

Prince Rupert's own version of the Oscars took last weekend, a Saturday evening gala celebration to recognize the city's Business sector, with the Prince Rupert and District Chamber of Commerce announcing the final results from community online balloting that delivered the 2015 Business Excellence Awards.

Residents of the North Coast had from February 1st to 14th to cast their ballots, logging on each day to push their preference over the top, rewarding those local services and companies that go the extra bit to provide for a rewarding customer experience.

Fifteen Categories were recognized on the evening, providing a cross section of the commercial, industrial and service providers of the North Coast, highlighting some of the newest of entrepreneurs in the region, as well as many of the established firms that have called Prince Rupert home for years.

With 79 nominees in those fifteen categories the competition was strong, making the decisions of the voting public that much harder, you can review the run-up period to Saturday night's Awards ceremony from our Nominations feature of late January, which lists all those companies and individuals that were up for awards on Saturday.
