Judd Repole closes in on potential Top Three Finish in KIJHL Scoring Race

Prince Rupert's Judd Repole is flying high in the KIJHL this season

The breakout year in the KIJHL for Prince Rupert's Judd Repole continues into February, with the former PRMHA alumnus continuing to climb the scoring stats listings from the Kootenay league.

Repole and team mate Colin Bell are making for a one - two punch for the Osoyoos Coyotes as the team travels through this final month of the KIJHL season.

Heading into the weekend ahead, Repole is seven points off the pace of his fellow Coyote on the Osyoos scoring parade, with a total of 15 goals and 43 assists for 58 points.

His contribution to the point totals have proven valuable as the Coyotes continue to dominate the Okanagan Division of the  Okanagan/Shuswap Conference.

When it comes to the overall Scoring race in the league, Bell currently holds down the Second spot in the listings, while Repole is currently tied for fifth spot, five away from cracking the Top Three mark.





The Prince Rupert contribution to the Osyoos attack has offered up a consistent effort through the 41 games played to this point, his assist levels indicative of his playmaking ability and how he has helped propel the Coyotes to second place overall in the KIJHL.




Time however is winding down for the Rupertite to make a push to the top of the regular season scoring listings, as the schedule works towards its conclusion later this month.

The Coyotes take a seven game win streak into action later this week when the face off against Summerland on Friday night, the first of the final five games in the regular season which comes to an end for Osoyoos on February 18th.

Their stellar success through the regular season has fans in the Okanagan community hopeful of a long run into the KIJHL playoffs which will get underway in March.
