North Coast Candidates to talk issues with CFNR on Wednesday

Wednesday evening may bring us a preview of what the North Coast election forum may look like on April 24th, as the three North coast candidates take part in the latest live streamed election forum on CFNR radio.

The North Coast issues will be explored tomorrow evening at 7 PM, streamed live through the CFNR website here.

NDP candidate Jennifer Rice, Liberal candidate Herb Pond and Green Party candidate Hondo Arendt will be participating in the one hour feature from CFNR News, offering up the positions of their parties on the topics raised, as well as to outline for voters how they feel they can best represent the North Coast in the Legislature after the May 9th election.

The Prince Rupert candidates will also take to the stage at the Lester Centre on Monday, April 24th at 7PM, some background on that event can be found here.

Tomorrow night offers up a double-header for those that follow CFNR, with the candidates from the Stikine riding providing the lead in programming at 6 PM.

You can get a sample of the kind of format and the pace of the question and answer process with a look at last week's CNFR forum with Skeena candidates Ellis Ross and Bruce Bidgood, the two spent an hour with CFNR's Gene Law, as they explored a number of issues that are percolating along the Terrace-Kitimat corridor.

That one hour session was an enjoyable session to take in, stripped away from any political acrimony, it tackled a number of issues in the Northwest in a respectful and informative manner.
