North Coast Soccer Season ends; but Soccer Camp season is about to start!

The pitch is empty for the moment, but a summer of soccer camps is
ahead for Prince Rupert's soccer community

Another strong year for Prince Rupert Minor Soccer came to an end this week as the city's budding soccer stars wrapped up a year of practices and league play over the weekend and into Monday

But for some the time to put away the soccer shoes will come a little later into the summer, with two soccer camp opportunities just over the horizon to help keep the skills sharp for next season.

Starting off the summer is the DP World Goal Getters Soccer Camp, which is set to take place at the Charles Hays field from July 9 to 13, the camp is designed for players from ages 3 to 15.

Registration for the camp is underway with forms available at Seasport clothing in Cow Bay.

Details on the July program can be found here.

Later in the summer the British Soccer Camp returns to Prince Rupert with five day program set for Patullo Field from August 20th to 24th.

The camp offers a range of programs for players from 3 to16 years of age, with a free soccer ball and T shirt, along with a free jersey included in the program for those who register by July 6th.

More details on that program can be found at challengersports.com

In addition to the soccer camps of the summer, local players are reminded of the  Whitecaps FC led Prince Rupert Soccer Academy program, which you can learn more about here.
