Weather once again has impact on BC Ferries Schedule

The adverse weather conditions of Monday night are taking their toll on the scheduled sailings of the Northern Expedition.

BC Ferries issued a Service Notice Monday night advising that the arrival of the vessel Northern Expedition would be delayed into Prince Rupert and with the weather situation continuing on into the evening, the planned departure time of 11 PM tonight for the return trip to Skidegate may be delayed as well.

Inter island ferry sailings on Haida Gwaii have also been affected by the weather situation, with two sailings cancelled this evening.
