Special Weather Statement, Wind Warning posted for North Coast and Haida Gwaii
Wind and rain is on the way for all of coastal British Columbia, with Haida Gwaii preparing to bear the brunt of the pacific system that is approaching the coast.
A Wind Warning was issued for Haida Gwaii this morning, calling for Damaging winds of up to 100 km/h through the day and into the evening.

For the North Coast a special weather forecast was issued this morning, outlining the potential of damaging winds today and into the evening.
Winds from the Southeast are anticipated, with potential gusts of up to 100 km/h through the day, Westerly winds move into the region this evening ranging from 60 to 80 km/h.

With weather systems arrival, BC Ferries has had to revise its sailing schedule for the Northern Adventure between Prince Rupert and Haida Gwaii.
Sunday's scheduled sailing of the Northern Adventure has been revised for a 4:30 PM departure, arriving in Skidegate at 10:30 PM. The return trip to Prince Rupert will depart Skidegate at 1:30 AM, arriving in Prince Rupert at 7:30 AM.
Service on the inter islands ferry the MV Kwuna has also been affected with a number of sailings cancelled through the day today.
