A snapshot of some of the talking points from North Coast MLA Jennifer Rice, during this week's proceedings of the Legislature.
Through the twelve sessions of the Legislature or Committee work listed for the week of March 3-7 , MLA Rice appears in the index for the Legislature week session three times.
The first from the Monday afternoon session, when she delivered her thoughts, on the Provincial Governments budget, a overview which included her observations of the current state of LNG planning in the Northwest.
During Thursday morning's session, the North Coast MLA offered up some short inquiries on two separate topics.
The first on the need of a shuttle bus for Highway 16 and later in the session she expressed her concerns over LNG encroachment of the Khutzeymateen near Prince Rupert.
As for committee work, MLA Rice serves on, The Standing Committee on Children and Youth. However, that Committee did not have any sessions scheduled for the week just passed.
Through the week, we featured a number of items on the blog regarding the MLA's work, as well as that of the Skeena MLA Robin Austin, who raised a number of items regarding the Northwest during the week in the Legislature.
