The gathering of the shareholders ( aka members) of Northern Savings Credit Union is on the horizon, the Annual General Meeting set for Wednesday evening in Prince Rupert.
The annual gathering will offer up a review of developments with the Prince Rupert based financial institution, marking the final meeting that the organization has held through the region this month.
Beyond the overall scope of the years financials, to go with the refreshments and door prizes of the evening, members will be called upon to take care of a bit of work.
With Board of Directors work to be done and a vote on a special resolution.

Voting for those positions have been ongoing at the branches of the Credit Union through the start of April, with the final opportunity to cast a ballot to take place at the AGM.
As well, Members will be asked to cast a vote on a Special Resolution for 2014, one which will alter the existing rules of Northern Credit Union, you can review the background on the resolution here.
As they meet in their April gathering, members will also be saluting the work of Don Scott, who wraps up his time as a Director with the Credit Union after 11 years of service.

The AGM takes place starting at 7 PM on Wednesday evening at the North Coast Meeting and Convention Centre (in the Chances complex).
