RCMP recruiting team set up in Prince Rupert Wednesday and Thursday

The path to the start of your opportunity to don Red Serge and enforce the laws of Canada could only be a few days away!

North Coast residents with an interest in pursuing a career with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police will want to make note of a Wednesday evening presentation, with a recruiting session set to take place at Northwest Community College.

A recruiting team from the RCMP will provide some background information on the many opportunities available as a member of the Federal police force, all part of the session that starts at 5:30 on Tuesday evening, taking place in the Board room of NWCC at the downtown campus on Fifth Street.

Following that Wednesday night information session, those that believe that the RCMP might be their calling can then take part in the E-RPAT testing program on Thursday evening, the first step in what could be a life long career path.

Thursday would be the first step towards a process that will eventually take them to the Recruit Depot at Regina and then to a posting to one of the communities that the RCMP provide policing services for from coast to coast.

Successful recruits may also find themselves tasked to any number of special units that the RCMP operate as part of their mandate for policing across the nation.

A full review of the qualifications required for the RCMP and the variety of occupations that they have to offer can be found from this link to the Prince Rupert RCMP website
