Travel Advisories in effect on Highway 16 East of Terrace

Update 1PM: Advisories continue for Highway 16, no longer in effect for Highway 37

Drive BC issued multiple warnings across Northwest BC on Thursday morning

Travel east of Terrace along highway 16 is not recommended this morning, as freezing rain makes driving conditions troublesome for many locations across the Northwest region.

The Travel Advisories from Drive BC were issued at 5:15 this morning, covering most of highway 16 east of Terrace through to Topley.

In addition, Highway 37 in both directions from Highway 16 North to Kitwanga is also under a Freezing Rain Warning.
