Wind Warnings Issued for North Coast and Haida Gwaii
An approaching low pressure system is going to make for a windy and wet Tuesday, with Environment Canada issuing a Wind Warning for Both the North Coast and Haida Gwaii late Monday evening.
Southeast Winds up to 90 km/h are anticipated for the North Coast by Tuesday afternoon, easing slightly in the evening before regaining strength again on Wednesday.
Relief from the windy conditions will arrive on Wednesday evening when a cold front arrives over the area.
As for the anticipated rainfall for the next 24 to 48 hours the Environment Canada forecast suggests that rainfall amounts up to 70 mm could be expected by Wednesday morning, with more rain to come through Wednesday and into Thursday.
