The list of contenders for the 2014 Business Excellence Awards has been released and with the ballots now delivered, online voting has commenced across the North Coast as the Prince Rupert and District Chamber of Commerce prepares to honour the best of the region.
Through January residents of the North Coast submitted those companies and services that they believe deserved recognition in thirteen categories. You can learn how the Chamber conducted that nomination search from our item of January 7th.
From those suggestions, the Business Excellence Awards coordinators put together the lists of top nominees, an interesting mix of newcomers to the area and a few of the old established companies and organizations from the region.
The names for the Final Ballot session were revealed by the Chamber Wednesday evening, with the voting now underway and the job of deciding the final results, a task for the voting public to deliver.

Online voting continues through this month, leading up to the highlight of the year of the Business Excellence Award Gala.
The Winners from each category will be announced at the Gala, taking place at the North Coast Meeting and Convention Centre on February 28th.
