It may seem like summer vacation has just started for students of School District 52, but parents know that the time to buy school supplies for the year ahead is almost here.
To help Parents with those school supply needs, the School District has started to post links to School Supply lists for a number of the schools of the District.
The advance notice on what is required for the 2015-15 school year provides for a chance for parent's to take advantage of any early back to school sales, which traditionally start to show up in stores towards the end of July or start of August.
Lists are now available for the following schools and Grades with School District 52.
Port Edward Community School
Port Edward Community School Kindergarten
Port Edward Community School Grades 1 and 2
Port Edward Community School Grades 3, 4 and 5
Roosevelt Community School
Roosevelt Community School Kindergarten to Grade 5
Prince Rupert Middle School
Prince Rupert Middle School Grade 6
Prince Rupert Middle School Grade 7
Prince Rupert Middle School Grade 8
As more lists are provided by the School District we will add them to this list.
For those schools not currently listed, parents and guardians are asked to contact the School Board office for more information should they require more background, they can reach SD52 at 250-624-6717 extension 222
The City's Independent School Annunciation also has a spot on its website set aside for supply lists, however the lists for all Grades from Kindergarten to Grade 8 have yet to be updated for the 2015-16 school year.
