After some relative silence over the last few months, the seismic lines running along the Central Coast have stirred a bit this week.
As
we outlined on Wednesday, the area Northwest of Port Hardy recorded a 4.8 earthquake in the early evening of the 29th.
Friday morning another temblor,
this one a 4.2 magnitude shift was noted in much the same location, 191 kilometres Northwest of Port Hardy. The second event in two days was recorded at 10:24 Friday morning, listed at a depth of 1.23 kilometres
