As we noted back in April, the growing list of highway cameras along the Highway 16 corridor added Rainbow Summit to the listings earlier this spring, with a highway camera in operation at the pull out alongside the road at that point.

The Rainbow Summit camera joined those already in place between Prince Rupert and Terrace providing a snap shot of conditions, with images updated at regular intervals
Something which will prove valuable for anyone making use of the roads as we head into the winter season and allowing drivers to be prepared for changing conditions that may be ahead.
