While the soccer season may be preparing to head into hibernation for the winter, the promise of spring days and a return to the pitch won't be that far down the road and in anticipation for the 2016 season, Prince Rupert Youth Soccer is looking for new volunteers.
The league which is one of the most popular in the region will be hosting its Annual General Meeting tomorrow night at 7 PM in the Raven Room at the Jim Ciccone Civic Centre.
In order for there to be a 2016 season, the Association will need some new faces and Board Members to take care of the day to day operations of the activity for youth.
If you have an interest in getting involved, or have some new ideas on soccer to share, you're invited to stop by for tomorrow night's session.
As well, for those that do step up, there is a chance to win a 2016 soccer registration, a thank you for those that offer their name up for some community involvement.
You can find out more about the meeting and what Prince Rupert Youth Soccer is all about from their website here.
Some notes from the 2015 season can be found here.
