North Co-Corp Ferry rates set to increase for North Coast communities

Fares are going up for travellers
to some North Coast coastal communities

The Ferry service that provides transportation to a number of North Coast communities will be increasing fares next month, with the North Co-Corp Ferry announcing the fare changes through a media release this week.

The transportation service connects Metlakatla, Hartley Bay, Kitkatla and Oona River with departures from Prince Rupert as well.

The service which is owned by three communities, Hartley Bay, Kitkatla and Metklakatla features representation from each of the communities on its Board of Directors. The service provides for a vital transportation link between the coastal communities of the region, you can review the schedule of operations here.

The new rates for travellers go into effect on April 1st.
