Northern Savings Goalgetters Soccer camp plans in motion for 2016 series

Goalgetters Soccer Camp season

The popular soccer camp series hosted by Northern Savings Credit Union is once again almost ready to accept registration for the summer program.

The Goalgetters Soccer School is designed for boys and girls from ages 3 to 15 and has been a fixture in the Northwest for more than 20 years.

There are four locations playing host to Goalgetters this year Prince Rupert, Terrace, Queen Charlotte City and Masset.

Two distinct programs make up the annual summer camp experience, with the Wee Kickers program introducing youngsters from three to four years to the game, pairing parent and player together to learn game through games and activities.

The next level is Fundamentals which provides for differing levels of skill development depending on the age of the player.

The schedule for the summer looks like this.

Prince Rupert
July 18 -22

Terrace 
July 11 to 15 and August 15 to 19

Queen Charlotte City
July 25 to July 29

Masset
July 25 to July 29

Registration for the 2016 Goalgetters program will be available through your local branch of Northern Savings starting on May 23rd

The long running soccer school program first came to the North Coast in 1975 and was the first of its kind sanctioned by the British Columbia Soccer Association. It features a full week of instruction and skill development by professional teachers and qualified coaches.
