One of the key vessels of the Oceania Cruise lines, the Regatta has made Prince Rupert one of its featured stop-overs as part of this years Alaska Cruise season,
The Regatta offers the prospect of 684 guests taking in the attractions, shore excursions and historical notes of the city. As they come ashore today, passengers will be looking to make the most out of the ten hours that the vessel will be alongside at Northland.
Today's visit by the Regatta is the first of three port calls on the city for cruise ships in July.
Later this month the Crystal Serenity and its 1,070 passengers will make a Sunday stopover on Sunday the 24th, one week later the significantly smaller pocket cruise vessel Silver Discoverer will bring 120 guests to the North coast for a Sunday visit.
The 594 foot vessel arrived at 8 AM and will departs Prince Rupert harbour at 6 PM tonight.
