Northwest Zones time for the Junior Rainmakers, as CHSS boys look to book a trip to Langley
Tournament season is here for the Junior Boys Rainmakers of Charles Hays, as coach Kevin Sawka's team makes ready to secure its status as best in the Northwest and with it, make plans for a return rip to Langley and the Junior Boys Provincials.
The Junior Boys, who are currently ranked as the number seven squad in Junior Varsity basketball in the province, have had a very successful regular season, with impressive victories found both at home and on the road through the last three months of regular season play.
Teams from Terrace, Kitimat and Lax Kw'laaams however will be looking to disrupt any Rainmaker travel plans for Provincials, as they arrive in town to face the Charles Hays squad which hosts the Zones Finals today and tomorrow at the gymnasium at the Prince Rupert Boulevard Campus.
