The opportunity to explore more on entrepreneurship is a partnership between Tricorp and the University of Victoria's Gustavson School of Business, they will run the next cohort of the popular program in Prince Rupert from April 25 to mid August.
The NWACE program covers tuition and support with travel and accommodation for out of town participants. A laptop and supplies are also included as part of the four month term.
The deadline to register for the upcoming semester is Friday, March 31st.
The NWACE Facebook page features a look at some of the upcoming plans from those that have taken the program in the past, with a number of the participants looking to start new business in Prince Rupert.
Included in the list of potential new business options for the region are a sports retail business to be known as Hoops and Laces, and an art supply business to be known as House of arts and supplies.
Both entrepreneurs have surveys hosted on the NWACE page, offering background to their plans and seeking some thoughts from the public to determine the level of interest in what they are proposing to offer to the community.
