The Lester Centre will provide the backdrop to the annual gala that celebrates the city's Business and Commercial scene Saturday, as the Prince Rupert and District Chamber of Commerce host their annual Business Excellence Awards tomorrow night.
The list of finalists was delivered following on line voting through January, with the List of those making it to the final round in each of the fifteen categories was revealed on January 24th.
On line voting once again was conducted to determine the top finisher for each category, with North Coast residents logging onto the Chamber site daily, ready to deliver their votes all the way to the final day for voting which took place on February 10th.
The results have remained a closely guarded secret to be delivered tomorrow night, hopefully with just a little bit less drama than the end of last week's Oscars ...
Saturday night's Black Tie gala kicks off with the Champagne Celebration in the lobby of the Lester Centre at 6:30, making for the red carpet photo opportunities in the lead up to the start of the Awards show at 7:30 PM.
The excitement will continue into the evening as the Awards show moves along through the night, leading up to the after party where the city's business community will get to congratulate the entrepreneurs and business operators that rose to the top as part of this years competition.Those that don't have a ticket to Saturday night's gala event can still join in on the celebration, CityWest Channel 10 (HD 310) will be broadcasting the event live from the Lester Centre starting at 6:30 PM
