Blog Watching: Week ending May 14, 2017
Not surprisingly, the provincial election campaign and North Coast result dominated the items reviewed by our readers this week.
Our preview of what election day was about to bring worked its way to the top of the most viewed items for the week, followed by a look at the six questions that Prince Rupert City Council had for the three candidates prior to election day.
Also cracking the top five on the week, our look at the results that returned the NDP's Jennifer Rice to the Legislature once there is some certainty to which party will form the government.
Some civic notes rounded out the list of five for the week, with Councillor Mirau's plans to raise the topic of Council's closed meetings process also of some interest, as was our look at at some of the themes from a trip to Ketchikan by a delegation from Prince Rupert.
Our top story however, takes us back to the day before voting and our look back at the North Coast in the British Columbia election.

Prince Rupert delegation shares transportation themes with Ketchikan Chamber -- A group of Municipal, Chamber and Tourism related officials took advantage of the new air service between Prince Rupert and Ketchikan as they made a presentation to the Ketchikan Chamber of Commerce.
