Prince Rupert's Sunken Gardens will get a financial boost this weekend with proceeds from the annual Prince Rupert Garden Club Tour and Tea to be directed to the city's feature horticultural display |
A favourite Prince Rupert activity is back after a one year hiatus, with annual tour of the city's most creative gardens returning to offer a sample of the talents of the city's gardening offerings.
Cancelled last year owing to a lack of gardens offered for display, this years opportunity to tour some of the city's most artistic displays comes up this Sunday as the Prince Rupert Garden Club hosts its annual City Garden Tour Tea.
The day begins with the Self Guided Garden Tour from Noon until 3, as the tour takes place those travelling the city are invited to the Afternoon Tea and Loonie Auction which runs from 1 to 4 PM at 315 4th Avenue East.
Tickets for the event are fifteen dollars and are available at Four Seasons Flowers or E'Klektik Trading. For more information on Sunday's event contact Andree at 250-624-3666.
All of the proceeds from Sunday's Tour and Tea are to be put towards the City's Sunken Gardens behind the Prince Rupert Court House.
