The City of Prince Rupert hosted a celebration on Tuesday night, as the Recreation Department showed off the two new mobility lifts that have been installed at the Civic Centre/Earl Mah Aquatic Centre facilities.

Prince Rupert Mayor Lee Brain was on hand for the Grand Opening celebration taking a ride on one of the lifts.
Funding for Accessibility for all program came through Canada 150 grants, the Northern Development Initiative Trust and the up to 30,000 dollars from the Rick Hansen Foundation.
