North Coast Review: Snowfall for inland areas of North Coast makes for challenging conditions

While the prospect of snow for Prince Rupert was limited to a few, short flurries in the afternoon, the intensive amount of rain that arrived last night and into the overnight has provided for some strong accumulations in inland communities and on their roadways.

A Snowfall warning for the North Coast inland region was lifted at 11 AM, but not before the weather system had deposited up to 25 centimetres in some locations.

And while the warning may no longer be in effect, additional snow is expected for the Terrace-Smithers-Kitimat regions thought the afternoon and into the evening. With an additional five to fifteen centimetres expected depending where you are travelling before the storm has move through the region.
