Arctic Outflow Warning in effect for North Coast Inland areas
Those that may be travelling inland to the Terrace/Kitimat region will want to bring along the boots, winter jacket, gloves and hats, as the North Coast Inland area has been placed under an Arctic Outflow Warning.
Temperatures below -10 and winds of 10 to 20 km/h are making for windchill values of -20 in the region, with the current air flow to continue through the next few days.
The prospect of a warming trend for inland areas will arrive by mid week, when temperatures will crack above the 0 mark.
You can review the full seven day forecast for Terrace here
Prince Rupert's temperatures are not quite as cold with an overnight low of -4 expected, with temperatures to warm up as the week progresses, a look at the Rupert forecast can be found here.
