Cancer Care Unit in Prince Rupert benefits from fundraising efforts in community

The North Coast Health Improvement Society is continuing on with its fundraising efforts towards a 200,000 dollar target for upgrades to the Cancer Care Unit at Prince Rupert Regional Hospital and this week they are saluting the work of two organizations in the community.

Yesterday, the Society made note of some recent fundraising from Bell Media and Tim Horton's in Prince Rupert, with both groups combining to deliver close to 7,000 dollars towards the efforts.

From the efforts by both companies, Bell Media contributed 3,000 dollars, while Tim Horton's added another 3,754 towards the goal,.
