Blog Watching: Week ending June 10, 2018
Civic issues, Civic salaries and Civic celebration collected some of our most views of the week, with some updated news from the School District and CN Rail rounding out our list of five on the week.
In fact, CN's major investment plan for the summer in Northern BC captured the most attention on the week, with our look at their equipment and infrastructure plans proving to be a popular item.
The annual release of financial information by the City of Prince Rupert came this week, with a range of reports to be presented to Council on Monday night, of the three items we made note of this week, the Salary review for elected officials found a large audience.
Our week of items related to Seatfest, he annual launch of the summer season for the North coast also attracted some strong readership on the week.
As did our look at change at the top of the Prince Rupert School District, with the SD52 Board announcing their selection for the new Superintendent of Schools for 2018-19.
And the latest project from the Mayor's Desk will be launched on Monday, as Mayor Brain presents his First Draft on the Sustainable City 20230 initiative, with readers exploring our notes on what some of that report may look like.
The top story of the week puts us all on the railroad, as CN Rail announced a range of spending for the summer and fall to increase capacity on the northern BC line.
