The Working dock at the North Pacific Cannery Historical Site will be getting a workout this Saturday, along with the other stage areas around the site as this years edition of the Intertidal Music Festival kicks off ten hours of music and fun.
The One day music Festival in Port Edward is heading towards the home stretch of planning, with the list of performers expanding by the day with a target of 24 bands for the noon hour opening for the popular North Coast event.
So far the Intertidal Festival line up has reached eighteen performers, a cross section of musical themes that should keep everyone dancing or singing along through the day at three stage locations.

There is also a range of options for food and beverages for the ten hour festival that wraps up at 10 PM.
Owing to the location at the end of Cannery Row in Port Edward and the lack of parking adjacent to the North Pacific site, transportation has been arranged from Prince Rupert to Port Edward on Saturday, with buses departing the Prince Rupert Civic Centre every fifteen minutes.
