Minor Basketball back for another season in Prince Rupert
The Russell Gamble Gymnasium at the Jim Ciccone Civic Centre features the sounds of basketballs hitting the floors and coaches giving instructions as the 2018-19 Prince Rupert Minor Basketball Season gets underway.
Teams have been set and practices are underway as the popular fall sport takes to the court, with three divisions in motion for this year, Grades 3/4, 5/6 and 7/8.
While players get back into the flow of the game and late minute roster adjustments take place to balance out the teams the first of the game day action is fast approaching for this Saturday, September 22nd.
Fans can drop into the Russel Gamble Gym most Saturday or Sunday afternoons to see how the upcoming group of Rupert's basketball talent is progressing through the season.

For those that may have missed the registration period of earlier this month, you can contact the PRMBA to see if there are still opportunities available with teams in the three divisions.
Team Sponsorship has been found through a number community minded business in the Prince Rupert area (see schedule above), while the referee sponsorship has been taken on by Northern Native Fishing Company.
