There were many familiar faces taking to the auction table on Monday evening at the Lester Centre for the Arts as Prince Rupert's Rotarians launched the 54th edition of the annual Rotary Auction.

The first boards for the night went up for delay shortly after the 6:30 PM start, with bargain after bargain rolling across the TV screens through until the final board of the night, with Michael Gurney ringing the bell to bring the bids and Night number one to an end just after 10:30 PM.

Going, Going, Gone ... Michael Gurney successfully sells off another board at
the Rotary Auction on Monday night, there are two more nights to go

The auction picks up again this evening from the Lester Centre at 6:30 PM, broadcast live on CityWest Channels 10 and 310 and streamed live through the Rotary Auction website and that of CityWest.

In addition to the bargains to be found, the volunteers of Rotary Night will keep you entertained through the evening, with some of Prince Rupert's most familiar faces taking their turn as auctioneers on the night.

The Broadcast also features a wide range of filmed profile features on some of the many Prince Rupert businesses that have donated Goods and Services to the Auction for 2018.

And while the preparations for night Number two continue through the day, you can get your bids in on the lots up for review tonight through the Rotary website.

More notes on tonight's broadcast and the work of Rotary can be found from the Rotary Club Facebook page.
