The Nisga'a New year is underway with the two days of Hoobiyee making for one of the most important dates on the calendar for members of the Nisga'a Nation.
This year's first major festival is taking place in Vancouver, with a two day event taking place at the Pacific National Exhibition Forum and featuring participants from all across the province.

Events began at 10:30 today and will continue through to the Grand Finale of Saturday Night.
