Kayak to Kelmtu tells the story of 14 year Ella who is determined to travel the length of the Inside Passage by kayak, her journey part of her desire to testify against a proposed pipeline that would see oil tanker traffic travel through her homeland waters.
The ninety minute feature was released in October of 2017
It has been nominated and been a winner at a number of film festivals since its release, generating a range of positive reviews along the way.
Thursday nights showing is scheduled for 7PM at the Prince Rupert Cinemas. Admission is 8 dollars
