Ahoy Mateys! Gather yeself at Seafest 2019, June 7 to 9 in Prince Rupert
Hard as it is to believe, the North Coast is but five weeks away from Prince Rupert's annual celebration of summer season, with the planning for the 2019 Seafest Celebrations now heading towards the home stretch.
This year, Prince Rupert's Special Events Society has chosen the theme of "Happy Pirates of the Pacific", which will give residents chance to channel their inner Jack Sparrow from June 7th to 9th.
Applications to take part in the 41st annual Seafest events are now available, with parade entries, vendor opportunities and Seafest Event proposals all to be considered.
You can access the application forms for this years festival here.
Potential food vendors should make note of the Northern Health requirements that will be in place for those wishing to sell food fare for this years Festival.
Still to come a little closer to the three day festival will be the Swim for Survival and 3 on 3 Basketball competitions.
The Seafest organizing committee is also looking for volunteers to lend a hand for any number of tasks that are required to lunch the annual festival of fun that spans the downtown core on Saturday and takes over the Rotary Waterfront Park location on Seafest Sunday.
You can find out more about what they need and how you can help out by calling them at 250-624-9118 or by contacting them through this form.
In addition to the Seafest website, you can keep up to date on upcoming notes for this year Seafest from the Special Events Society Facebook page.
