The first significant wild fire of the 2019 season in Northwest BC is currently being battled near Fraser Lake, with an area of that community currently under an evacuation order owing to the unpredictable nature of the Lejac Fire.
The evacuation Order and Alert was issued by the Bulkley-Nechako Regional District on Saturday, covering an area south of Highway 16.
