Prince Rupert celebration of the 21st Annual National Indigenous Day set for Waterfront on Friday
A jam packed eight hours of music, cultural dancers, traditional foods and family activities will be found at the Prince Rupert Rotary Waterfront Park this Friday, as Canada celebrates the 21st edition of National Indigenous Day.
The event starts at Noon and continues through until 8 PM providing opportunity for all Canadians to recognize and celebrate Aboriginal people and communities.
In addition to the range of activities for the day, musical guests will include Joel West, Aja and Lonnie, Simbiyez Wilson and much more.
So far the weather forecast appears to be cooperating with organizers with Friday calling for Sunshine and temperatures around the 16 degree mark
In the event of rain, the event will shift to the Jim Ciccone Civic Centre.
