Yes, you were living at a faster pace for the last few days, as BC Hydro did maintenance on local infrastructure

If you've been looking at the clock the last few days and wondered if time was getting away from you, the answer is yes, it was!

With Prince Rupert put on generator power while maintenance took place last Tuesday and Wednesday.

We first noticed the time shifting nature of the clocks late last week and today made a twitter inquiry of BC Hydro as to the status of the Prince Rupert power supply.

In their reply, BC Hydro estimates that we wold have gained 4 minutes and 48 seconds of time, we'll turn it over to you to adjust your clocks accordingly.

The City is now back on the provincial grid.
