Successful end to Prince Rupert search for Kitkatla man brings thanks from Mounties
It appears to have been a search that few may have known about; but came with a successful end towards the local efforts of the weekend.
And as a wrap up to the case file, the Prince Rupert RCMP have issued a note of thanks to those who offered up assistance.
The advisory comes from the Prince Rupert detachment website this evening, with a short two line note on the recent search and successful location of a 37 year old Kitkatla man and the local detachment offering their thanks for the public for their help.
Curiously, there does not appear to have been any public call for assistance made through the RCMP's home page; nor it seems, did the subject of the search make for any kind of news flow over the weekend.
Still, from the all's well that end's well department, with the account of the safe discovery of the subject of the search, a job well done to all those that may have assisted in the course of the investigation.
Should the detachment offer up a few more details on the nature of the search, we'll update our notes accordingly.
